Bitcoin is in line to benefit from a tsunami of institutional capital, says Dan Tapiero, while Ethereum is also due an ETF boost. Bitcoin (BTC) faces a “torrent” of institutional inflows in the run-up to a United States exchange-traded fund (ETF) approval. That is the perspective of Dan Tapiero, founder and CEO of 10T Holdings, who has joined the bulls eyeing a sea change in institutional Bitcoin adoption. In an Aug. 11 notice, the SEC opened a 21-day comment period for the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF to the public following publication in the Federal Register, the latest delay for the regulator determining whether to approve or disapprove of a spot crypto ETF in the United States. ARK originally filed to list the ETF in May, giving the SEC a maximum of 240 days — until January 2024 — to reach a final decision. “The regulated market of significant size test does not require that the spot bitcoin market be regulated in order for the Commission to approve this proposal , and precedent makes clear that an underlying market for a spot commodity or curren...

The report drew special attention to the fact that gains in the S&P 500 — the index that tracks the 500 largest companies in the United States — have become increasingly concentrated in a handful of tech stocks. The firm says investment in AI is a good way to capitalize on this concentration. "We think this unusual equity market shows a mega force like AI can be a big driver of retur...
