Shiba Inu: Shibarium Puppynet Wallets Reach 14 Million Milestone
According to the data on Puppyscan, the number of wallets for Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) Shibarium testnet has surpassed 14 million. At press time, the number of wallets on Puppynet stands at 14.06 million. However, it should be noted that the increase in new wallets has significantly decreased in the last couple of days. Since Thursday, only 100,000 new wallets were created.
The decrease is likely due to the fact that the initial spike in new wallets was because of a script to stress test the Shibarium network. The stress test script is responsible for creating about 9 million wallets. Nonetheless, Shiba Inu’s upcoming network has reached a new all-time high in regard to wallet addresses.
Shiba Inu adoption to increase with new listings and partnerships?
Recently, Binance said that it has partnered with an international payment company called IvendPay. According to the statement, the collaboration would allow Binance Pay users to make purchases from IvendPay’s global network of more than 400 merchants using more than 70 cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Furthermore, Dubai-based crypto exchange, Ceto, will list SHIB’s offspring token Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) today. The exchange held a poll for its users, asking which token they would like to see on the platform. A majority of users voted for BONE, which is also set to be the governance token for Shiba Inu’s Shibarium network.
Many users expect the price of BONE to skyrocket when Shibarium is launched. SHIB lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama has said that the mainnet for Shibarium could debut within two to four months. However, the developer did not disclose an official launch date.
At press time, Shiba Inu (SHIB) was trading at $0.00001027, down by 1.9% in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) was trading at $1.02, up by 6.4% in the last 24 hours.
